Tomorrow's Test

The bronchioscopy is scheduled for Thursday around 10 a.m. Please pray that it goes well with no complications and that they are able to find the appropriate medication to sedate me since the commonly used drug, Versed, doesn't work for me. They will not be doing a lung biopsy because that is considered too high risk at this time. There is a good chance the test will be inconclusive but if it does show the problem it will aid greatly in treatment.

Blessings,
Amy

I am trusting God to comfort you through the test. Even when trusting God, things can be still scary and unnerving...in our human fleshly state, we still have all those emotions, struggles, and fears....but I pray that the Lord carries you through the test with no pain and that the drugs work to aid you in having comfort. I'll be praying.

I love this quote by John Piper:

Joy in affliction is rooted in the hope of resurrection, but our experience of suffering also deepens the root of that hope.

John Piper

May your root of hope be deepened as you endure.

WE will pray for you tonight, Amy!

Okay, I will pray.

"His forever, only His--
Who the Lord and me shall part?
Ah, with what a rest of bliss
Christ can fill the loving heart!
Heav'n and earth may fade and flee,
Firstborn light in gloom decline;
But while God and I shall be,
I am His, and He is mine;
But while God and I shall be,
I am His and He is mine"

(hymn by George W. Robinson)

Hugs, Shanda
